I always book through priceline.com. I have a reservation for this weekend through AVIS for a full size car. Pick-up tomorrow night and returning on Tuesday. Total price for the 4 days with tax is $100.20 ($60 for the car and $40.20 in fees/taxes) I bid $15 dollars on a Full size and it was accepted. You can probably bid even less on a smaller car.

They are trying to charge me after I returned the car for $893.46 for a windshield replacement. They said that it took over 3 hrs to replace. Their bill also listed $400 in miscellaneous parts.
It was confirmed to me by AVIS UK customer service and AVIS Italy ( PISA Airport ) on Sept 17/2015 that the deposit was 20% of the cost of the prepaid rental and the cost of a full tank of petrol. Buffalo, New York. Great New Hotel. Stayed at the Capitana Key West for 4 nights in March 2021. We booked a queen gulf view room at their Maiden Voyage Rate $199/night on weekdays/$239/weekends. Great value if you can get the hotel at this price. The room was clean, spacious and very nicely decorated.
