We are debating between buying a used car (preferably costing no more than 5000 USD) and selling it at the end of our stay, or renting/leasing a car for three months. I understand that renting a car would cost approx. 1500 USD for three months.

Answer 1 of 12: Going to spend about 3-4 months in Cape May and will need a car. Research so far looks like a standard car rental of that length will be sky high. Any thoughts or advice around other options to explore?
