    In the plot summary it infers that Quoyle (the main character) has only one daughter. This is incorrect. The film version ignores his youngest child Sunshine. In the novel Quoyle has two daughters which are both sold by Petal and accompany him to Newfoundland Perhaps the plot summary could be reworded to accommodate.
