Try it both ways ( returning to LAS and dropping at LAX) and it should show any fees. For a random August date, picking up at LAS and dropping at LAX:

Stick with big names - Hertz, Avis, Alamo, Dollar, etc etc. Avis always comes in cheapest for me via Expedia. Edited: 5:14 pm, March 19, 2024.
5. Re: Need advice for car rental. Apr 14, 2024, 1:20 PM. I prefer Alamo. You go Alamo.com and register to be an insider. On the Costco email confirmation you'll have the alamo confirmation number as well. You can look up your confirmation on alamo and put in DL, etc. so you can skip the counter.
3. Re: Car rental one way from Vegas to LAX no drop off fee. 10 years ago. I know Virgin Holidays don't charge one-way fees for rentals between California and Nevada. Worth looking. They mainly use Alamo. Rates are quite competitive, and if you collect miles, the rental earns miles. Also no cancellation charges.
