Parking was also free. The coolest exhibit was the Sting Ray Cove, which for an additional charge you could see and touch the rays, and for an additional charge, you could get a fish head to feed a ray. This was a cool experience for my kids. This zoo is very large and spread out, and a lot of exhibits were empty.

Like others said, the zoo is doing a lot of construction and moving animals around. When all is done, it will probably be fabulous. We spent a lot of money on a hot day with a ridiculous parking experience. For now, I would not recommend the zoo for a family outing. Hoping for the best for the zoo soon.
