Ok, so we booked a rental car through Expedia (no pre-payment, it was cheaper than DHRC and Costco) and are trying to call Avis to make sure the Avis preferred number is added to the reservation. But the Avis agent (calling Avis directly, not Avis OGG) says he can't do it, and that Expedia has to call them to solve that.
Avis gives a warning about using corp codes, saying that they require proof but if you can skip the line you don’t have to worry about that. I’ve used the code many times at a number of places, was able to skip the lines so just wondered if anyone used avis preferred at mco. Thx in advance. Edited: 2 years ago

Most of the time with Avis Preferred there will be a board with names on it, if your name is there with a stall numbers, you just go to the stall, check out your car for damage, get in, go to the exit and give them your license and paperwork and you are on your way.

Although the sticker is only $5, you may or may not get it off the windshield. The portable transponder with the suction cups is going to cost more than the $19.75 maximum admin fees charged by rental's toll program. If you plan on returning to Florida, I would get a portable transponder.
