I don't know about UK but I can give you an example of a US phone # format: The country code is 1 (it will appear automatically when you select the country!) The area code is 347 . The number is xxxyyy4 . An actual number for US is 1-347-xxx-yyy4 . Hopefully, you can figure it out for UK so it'll help you out next time.
The presentation of a telephone number with the plus sign indicates that the number should be dialed with an international calling prefix, in place of the plus sign. All of my credit cards have a phone number to call collect, but I don't actually know how to make a collect call with a cell phone. Does anyone know the best way to do this? I messaged T-mobile and the agent says the phone will know it's a collect call and tell me the charges. He also says the charges are different than the usual 20 cents a minute.
