The pickup and drop off lots for each company are separate and independent. The Hertz lot and the Enterprise lots are about 0.7 miles from each other.
1. Re: Car rental return after hours. Hotels with Hertz desks usually allow after-hours drops in the parking garage. But usually they don't check the car in until they open in the morning, meaning that you might run up an extra days' charge depending on what time of day you originally picked up the car.
Reviewed October 6, 2015. Great rental. I used to travel a lot for business and was even a president's five star member at one time. However this time takes the cake. We received a new car maybe only 1800 miles on it, clean and ready when we walked out the terminal. However that is the norm for gold members.

Most car rental shuttles including Hertz pull up to the 'traffic island' in the roadway in front of exit door for baggage claim at each terminal. The traffic island has color-coded signs hanging over it. Look for the PURPLE overhead sign that says "Rental Cars".
