It was around $240.00 a day, which is expensive, yes but you are guaranteed the 4wd or AWD you select. On the Enterprise website for Denver airport, you can select a Ford Edge AWD for $156.00 per day. But this is not guaranteed, or I haven't figured out how to ensure you get what you rent from a major car rental company.
Avis Car Rental. Bus took 30+ minutes to pick us up at terminal. It was over packed to get to the car lot. Then the exit gates were blocked by 2 different cars that the attendant couldnt figure how to check out. I was told by avis that if I am renting a car from avis for the first time I will still have to stop by the counter.
We booked a flight from IAH to Denver and took advantage of AVIS’s” Mystery Car” reservation to keep the costs down. We arrived early morning in Denver and made our way to the AVIS center where we saw my name on the “Preferred” board and directions to stop by the Preferred kiosk. There we received keys and directed to space “D4”.
