I made a car reservation on the Orbitz website and selected AVIS as they charged far less for a one-way. Orbitz gave me their locator number as well as the AVIS reference number. Ok, so we booked a rental car through Expedia (no pre-payment, it was cheaper than DHRC and Costco) and are trying to call Avis to make sure the Avis preferred number is added to the reservation.
