Hello! Last April I rented a car from Dollar at the Tampa airport. It was by far the most frustrating rental car experience I've every had in my many years of traveling. I stood in line for 1.5 hours and when I finally reached the counter they did not have a car available at the side of the airport, and the person working the counter was simply rude.
The rental counters for Thrifty and Dollar are closed and you have to go thru Hertz to get your car. Hertz is not staffing their counters enough to adequately keep up with customers. They are using only 1 person to take care of Thrifty/Dollar customers while prioritizing Hertz people. We had to wait over 1 hour to get thru the line to get our ...
