We've flown into Orlando (Sanford) and Vegas many times and the rental facilities are all in one place, on site at Sandford and a shuttle ride away at Vegas.

2. Re: Which Rental Car Companies Are Easiest at Airport. All car rental facilities at LAX are off-site, and you will need to take a shuttle from the terminal to get to one. I would stick with the major firms - Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National, Thrifty.

They use Avis but have had a quick look online and they (Avis) have very mixed reviews (stories of 90 min queues and bad service).

And please if you have not, do sign up for Avis preferred and make sure your rez has that number and the driver will drop you right in front of your car. You get in, drive to the gate, show your license and are out of there.
Apr 9, 2024, 6:40 AM. You have 3 hotels within walking distance of the Avis Car Rental Center: The Rennaissance, Four Points Sheraton, and the Marriott. These are all located along Airport Blvd. Use Google maps to see the walk from the Renaissance, since the entrance is just before the lot. It's about a 7 min walk.

If you can modify your car-rental pickup without it changing the price, just pick it up next morning....Avis is right across the street from the hotel. Report inappropriate content.
