We needed a vehicle to fit 2 adults and our 4 older (taller) teens and luggage. We rented through VAMOS RENT-A-CAR with pick-up/drop-off at the San Jose airport.

Ubers at Newark airport pick up at the terminals (baggage claim/passenger pickup level) – so from Avis – just jump on the free monorail to any of the terminals (A comes first – but depending on time of day – B might be less crowded).

Instead of trying to find parking and then the long walk from the parking garage to the casino, you will be dropped off exactly where you want to be. And yes, you can reserve an Uber ahead of time.

   Looking for some advice, please. We have 4 full days in January 2024 to explore Tampa, having spent a couple of days in Sarasota.I am weighing up the cost of hiring a car for the full trip (pick up Sarasota airport, drop off Tampa airport) plus hotel car parking, versus using Uber to get aound (including getting to Tampa and to/from airports).
