The camp ground that I would personally recommend, just because I have camped there before is East Fork State Park in Ohio. It is around a 50 minute drive away from the Creation Museum. What kind of camping are you wanting to do,tent or camper? If you are wanting to do camper, there are only around 5-8 full hook up sites and they book fast.

We are a couple in our mid 50 leaving in 10 dayside the 6/9/19 for a 6 week RV driving trip from LA to San Francisco then to Yosemite, Las Vagas and then across the country to Florida. Can anyone tell us if there is a guide on all the parks and free camps in this part of USA.
