I found a great rate through AAA for Hertz Car Rental at OGG, but there are SO many horrible reviews and experiences that people seem to share on Yelp, etc. that I am timid to book.
5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.

Answer 1 of 9: Not sure what to do I have 2 bookings - one with expedia with hertz and one direct with hertz as a gold member - the direct booking is around £30 more expensive but i get to bypass the counter i understand.

I plan to hire a car for1 day on Sept 21 -2023 to do a quick drive around the island and stop at a few our favourite places - Sandy beach for a swim , Kalapawai market for lunch then ( hopefully ) a short stop at the Premium Outlets. Hi. Hertz's CDW is one of the best, and as a UK renter you'll have that and SLI. No main exclusions as long stay within the terms of the agreement, so no need to worry about existing damage too much (you won't get a damage list/tick sheet), but check it over and take a few pictures if it helps you feel more confident.
