5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.

Answer 1 of 9: Not sure what to do I have 2 bookings - one with expedia with hertz and one direct with hertz as a gold member - the direct booking is around £30 more expensive but i get to bypass the counter i understand.

So for instance in the corner of my booking screen is a 'gold members' button and when I click on that and click through 'overview' and 'value' it says "Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members: Enjoy members’ only discounts; Pay no additional driver fees for a spouse or domestic partner"
12 years ago. Save. I rented a mid size SUV at Phoenix Sky for $13.00 per day in my husbands name through Priceline. I then signed up for Hertz Gold through AAA in my husbands name. I just called Hertz and because we used Priceline, we are not able to use the Hertz Gold perks like adding a second driver (myself) or skipping the rental line.

I plan to hire a car for1 day on Sept 21 -2023 to do a quick drive around the island and stop at a few our favourite places - Sandy beach for a swim , Kalapawai market for lunch then ( hopefully ) a short stop at the Premium Outlets. I have 2 x cars booked - 1 x Dollar car rentals and 1 x Hertz car rentals.
