5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.

I just called Hertz and because we used Priceline, we are not able to use the Hertz Gold perks like adding a second driver (myself) or skipping the rental line.

Answer 1 of 9: Not sure what to do I have 2 bookings - one with expedia with hertz and one direct with hertz as a gold member - the direct booking is around £30 more expensive but i get to bypass the counter i understand.
