But, using Sixt's website, I've reserved a compact automatic sedan for about $45/day -- about $20/day cheaper than the other supposedly reputable companies.

   I was hesitating renting a car at sixt because of the reviews but when I rent the car nothing happened I mean really nothing to happen staff was friendly smiling. I rent a covertible Camaro for five days for $266 I used 20% off from my American Express card and nothing happened easy pick up easy drop off. No credit card hold. No extra charges.
