The most influential radio station is KCRW (88.9) - their morning program, Morning Becomes Eclectic, along with the night time djs (Jason Bentley and Garth Trinidad) - are the best (kcrw.com has live streaming). Personally I like the music programs on KCRW (89.9 FM) but they are only music some of the time. Otherwise when I listen to music its generally AMP-FM (97.1), STAR (98.7) or KROQ (106.7) - most radio stations do morning shows up until 9 or 10AM and during these times they tend to be a mix of chat and music.
