25 reviews. 27 helpful votes. 3. Re: Alamo Car Rental at Miami Airport. 10 years ago. We used Alamo at Miami airport in January & had an intermediate suv. We picked a Chevrolet Captiva & we really liked it but there were also Ford Escapes, Suzuki Grand Vitara & a Hyundai to choose from.
15 years ago. Alamo offers free shuttle service to and from the Port of Miami. I've used it twice and will again in March (2009.) I will drop my car off at Alamo 2-3 hours before the cruise so that me and the other three in my party can catch the next shuttle to the Port. They run about every 30 minutes.

Beach locations are limited by lack of space. You can take the Airport Flyer bus from SoBe directly to the airport car rental center for only $2.65.
