   Re: Rent a car from Expedia or direct from Avis etc ? Always book direct. Especially with cars in such short supply. If you show up at the Hertz counter with a Hertz reservation you will get better help if there is a problem, than if you book through a third party and have to track down Expedia in a hurry.

   Horrible Experience. This past week I rented a car from the Ace Location in Orlando, Florida located at 7855 N. Frontage Road. When picking up the keys, the man at the desk insisted that I needed to purchase the $50.00 toll road package for traveling between Orlando and Sarasota.

It is also the most expensive.We like Avis and Alamo;often rent through Priceline which is cheap and they only use rental companies at the airport.
