    The tiny liquids allowance only apply to hand luggage. I always pack my toiletries in my check/hold luggage, to avoid these issues. However, as said, most toiletries are actually cheaper in the USA than the UK, so you can always buy anything there, cheaply - and easily. SWT

    More and more companies are making travel sizes 3oz or less. Example, Aveno now makes my moisturizer in a 2.5 oz size and, in the USA, Duane Reade and CVS have a very large number of travel sizes of almost EVERYTHING. I can get enough for 5 days in a 1 qt zip-lock bag. But then I have to use (YUCK) roll-on deodorant.

    8 years ago. 62" limit on checked bags - how strict? Hi, not a big flyer, and when I do, its just a carry on. Upcoming trip will necessitate a carry on. Max L + W + H cannot be larger than 62 inches. I just bought a roller dufflel, fully inflated it is 68". If not fully filled, it wont hit the 62 limit.

    You only need to take into the cabin a small travel size container (less than 100 ml) of anything you need during your flights or immediately on arrival. I usually take moisturiser, cleanser, toothpaste, eye lubrication drops, lip balm and sunscreen and insect repellant depending on the destination.

Unless it is specifically prohibited (e.g. explosives) then you can take anything you want in your handluggage providing it is not more than 100ml if it's a liquid. Similarly in your checked luggage, but the size restrictions don't apply.

    Answer 11 of 20: I have some foil wrapped packets of moisturizer, eye cream, etc. They are single use sizes. Does anyone know if these are allowed on planes? I can't imagine an international flight with no lotion.
