Overall there was no huge delays as was worred when I see the reviews earlier here. Definitely it's a budget airline, so one need to be flexible. Date of travel: August 2023.

It worked. I just entered my BA PNR and went into the seat selection area. It shows allocated seats for the first leg, LHR to DOH. It would let me change seat but in fact the currently allocated seats are fine, so I left them. I then went to the second leg, DOH to PER. I didn't like those seats so I changed them.
4. Re: There is a PNR but no e-ticket. 6 years ago. It's not unusual for ticketing to take 24-48 hours, even sometimes longer. This is the case when booking both via agents and directly with the airline. I once waited a week for American Airlines to issue a frequent flyer award ticket despite having a confirmed PNR.
