Anyone have experience with Advantage rental cars at LAX? 11 years ago. I'm getting a very good rate ($32/day vs. $75/day) for this rental car company through cheaptickets.com, but I've never heard of them. Wondering if they're reputable or if I should stay clear of them and go with a more well-known company. Thanks!
Answer 1 of 18: Will be renting a car at SLC and the only brands that offer acceptable prices for smaller cars are Fox, Ez, and Advantage. All other brands are way over-priced for the time I want to travel.
Thrifty and ez are the closest to the airport. Advantage is a few miles down Semoran. Advantage and EZ both fall into the class of 'not exactly' fromt the old Hertz ads. They are not very quick and their sites are kind of run down. The cars are all in good shape and as new as new as what you will find at any of the major car rental companies.
