Re: Cancun weather in September. 13 years ago. We've gone 4 times in late September and early October. The weather is hot and humid which is great when you are by the ocean or pool. It is a nice time of year because it isn't crowded and the prices are lower.

I've read that the average temperature in cancun is around 82 high and 68 low during the month of december. Now, from your past experiences, can you actually go into the ocean and pool with those temperatures?
Here's my summary of December weather... Average daytime high is 28° C. Average overnight low is 21° C. Most December days are sunny & hot, and nights are warm or pleasantly cool. There's always some rain, but typically, rainfall is low, and when it does rain, it's often overnight/early morning, and the rest of the day is clear & sunny.
Going again Dec 2nd. For us, it's only December through February. No worries - it will be dry and sunny ALL the time, with low humidity. Low eighties. You can actually walk outside in daytime and not get burned to a crisp. The ocean water in December is never "cool" in December - or anytime in Cancun, for that matter.
