8. Re: is July 4th a popular time to visit Vegas? 12 years ago. End of June is great time to go to Vegas. Weather will be hot but in July and August it becomes extremely hot so that many of the people in this forum will take a pass on Vegas. My Bday is August 1 and it is incredibly dry and hot that time in Vegas.
19 years ago. July temperatures can get as high as 115 durng the heat of the day. Hottest time of the day is generally 2-4p. Casinos are all airconditioned and don't expect it to cool off too much at night. 100 degree lows, yes folks I did type LOWS are not uncommon during July and August. Drink lots ad lots of water.
Re: Temperatures next week! 1 year ago. Those temperatures, while slightly above normal are not unusual. The average temperature for most of July is about 105. That is much too hot for us wimps from California to use the pool. So we don't visit LV in July or August that often.

Answer 1 of 6: My friends and I are trying to decide when would be the best time to go to Vegas. The only times that work for us are beginning of May but Monday-Wednesday or 4th of July weekend.
