   Hertz Mexico is a very unprofessional organization. I verbally declined all additional insurances, upgrades or anything from the basic rental multiple times. However, they added insurance and upgrades last second and ask me to sign pretending it was what we originally agreed. I read their Google reviews and this happens every day to tourists.

   Beware travelers Hertz Cancun Airport. On the last rental we waited 2 hours 40 minutes. The reason that the wait increases is due to unwarranted pressure from unscrupulous trained customer service reps vampiring the public. In Mexico, if not mistaken, the third party damages coverage is 100,000 pesos to humans and 50,000 to property.

   Be forewarned, Mexico is going to be the worst car rental experience of your life even if everything goes perfectly. I haven’t even started to describe the boiler room experience you’re going to have when trying to decline the absurd insurance packages that don’t cover any of the things that will actually go wrong.
