It is a little pedestrian street mall (open only to buses and people), very convenient to Manhattan. You will be in hip-hop heaven, and the prices are low! A, C or G train to Hoyt-Schemerhorn Street. (NOTE: There is also a Fulton Street in lower Manhattan, part of which is also closed to traffic and has 1 or 2 hip-hop clothing stores.
The Even Hotel is very, very reasonably priced and convenient to three different subway stops in downtown Brooklyn. We will definitely be back. Read less.
