The difference has to do with things like towing distances needed if you car broke down and you needed a tow. I manly drive within 5 miles of where I live.

Last week AA wanted $2000+ to upgrade from PE to Business, yesterday it was $700 and today (45 days out) it dropped to $350. Highly doubt it goes lower than that.
