    Hi All, Going last 2 weeks in March to Delhi, Jaipur, Agra and Varanasi. Was all set to use my US Chase Debit card at ATM machines in India. When I went to bank to do a travel notification I was informed that India was on their list of "restricted" countries, and that there was no guarantee my ATM card would work (not be blocked).

Stick to bigger banks (Bank Of China, China Construction Bank for example) and only use ATMs outside banks and during banking hours if possible.
