Its unrestricted at keystone and breck andv10 days at vail beaver creek with blackout dates. If you want to ski vail or beaver creek there are restrictions over Christmas. If you want to ski those places then get a full epic pass. Both will pay for themselves skiing 4 or 5 days compared to window prices.

Two different property managers outside of Keystone told me that at the end of August or early September every year for the past four or five years , the epic for a day pass goes on sale for about half off, give or take a little.

The pass holder just needs to be present to buy tickets. Buying day of at the window is by far the most expensive option. Not sure banff is on the epic. Whistler breck and keystone are, along with vail beaver creek crested butte and telluride in Colorado. Edited: 1 year ago

1. Re: Lift ticket vs day pass. 4 years ago. There is an epic day pass which is lift access for one day. As opposed to a multi day or season pass. It is most affordable bought online in advance. If you are new skiers you should get lessons. Skiing without instruction is dangerous to yourself and others. Report inappropriate content.
