Even though we were within walking distance, we couldn't carry all of our heavy items. Plus, we didn't want to waste precious time going to the store! Just an option.....

You will pass by there on your way. There is a Kroger and Lowes Foods on up the road a bit and a Wal Mart about 4 miles north of you.
As of August 2016, 14 Lowes Foods stores had fuel stations. Lowes Foods offered a five-cent discount per gallon of gas with each $100 spent inside the store (excl. alcohol and gift card purchases) which was redeemable at Lowes Foods fuel stations or any participating Speedway or WilcoHess locations in North and South Carolina. It might be worth having your uber add a tenth of a mile to let you visit Coliseum Liquors on International Blvd very close to the airport. For the breakfast and snackies you can walk from your airbnb to King Street Grocery at 435 King Street. They've got a not-bad beer & wine selection. 8.
KJ's Market first opened in Florence, South Carolina in 2006. On September 1, 2020, it was announced that the chain acquired 20 former BI-LO locations from Southeastern Grocers. In 2021, the stores were rebranded as KJ's, IGA and Lowes Foods .
2. Re: Grocery Stores near Palmetto Dunes. 10 years ago. I've noticed that Krogers has a few items that are different than Publix. It is a much larger store, and their card can save you on gas around the island. Krogers owns some other grocery chains and the Kroger Card can be used if you shop at one other chain.
While there are no dry counties in South Carolina, and retail liquor sales are uniform statewide, certain counties may enforce time restrictions for beer and wine sales in stores (e.g., no sales after 2 a.m. in Pickens County) while others do not (in-store beer and wine sales are allowed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in Charleston).
