Too add to your confusion we prefer to stay AI in the hotel zone, plenty of options there and depending on where you stay within walking distance to the Malecon and downtown PV; Zona Romantica does not have many AI option (Playa Los Arcos and San Marino) great budget friendly hotel and mostly buffet but within walking distance to many affordable and good restaurants; not a fan of the marina ...

The most compelling reason that this review is a “1” is that Norwegian stranded a family of 9 in Ketchikan in Alaska. The family booked an excursion through the ship and the tour operator did not track excursion participants.
