    Its a main water supply so thats why no swimming, allthough ive seen people on boats taking dips in the water. For swimming fun, i suggest lake Arcadia- which is near edmond. Lake hefner is still beautiful place to go, at sunset and sunrise, or to take a drivebb or walk or bike ride around, or walk around to the light house.
