The Mapquest route is OK to a point, but you should not take that Boulevard of the Allies exit (you cannot exit onto Forbes Avenue from there due to construction which is expected to last until the end of 2008.) Follow your Mapquest directions and get onto 579S towards Veterans Bridge. After that:
Mapquest says to leave Jackson, drive north to Moran and then head east through Dubois, Casper and then down to Denver. I checked another online mapping source and it said to head south through Pinedale to Rock Springs and then take the Interstate to Cheyenne and down to Denver. I would think that the mapquest route in the most scenic.
