Re: Opinions on Hiring a car. 1 year ago. Driving in Dubai is definitely different from the UK, but it's still OK compared to KSA or Abu Dhabi. I find driving in London is more daunting than in Dubai - but that's just me. As mentioned, stick to the big names for renting and ensure any dents are identified at checkout.
