After searching google for the Southern California City Pass, it appears that Costco has it for US$204.99 instead of the usual $235 per adult.
If the "Hollywood stuff" is Madame Tussaud's and the Movie star homes tour, Starline is offering the two as a combo for $42. That comes to a total of $209. So, buying the pass will save you either $12 or $18 if you can get the pass from Costco (if you can use your credit card and Costco's non-member price is the same as their member price).
