11. Re: clarification about using Google flights. "Separate tickets booked together" is one of several ways Google Flights can display misleading results these days. It's always a red flag. Sometimes, as OP found, the individual "separate" tickets are not actually bookable on the airline websites at the listed prices.

I haven't searched flights in a while, so maybe this isn't really new, but I was just looking on Google flights and they are offering separate tickets through kiwi.com.
