Security/TSA asked if I had a "letter" but never asked to see it. Before electronic/kiosk check-in, sometimes have been asked for "letter" at counter, depending on airline.

They are asking straight forward question. I tried to do a form just to see what was tripping people up. Name, family info address, countries visited, any crime etc. Basic questions.
