While they have numerous negative reviews we did not have any problems. Granted their cars are not new. With tax in we paid $76 for the 4 days which I think was very good.
For sure, do NOT use Fox for your car rental. They were very good in prior years but my recent experience with them at LAX is mirrored by the experiences of others: Horrendous long lines, unreasonable wait times, uninterested staff. Yes, the cars are cheaper but there's no guarantee they'll have one waiting to meet your reservation.
Answer 1 of 8: There will be 3 adults and 2 children traveling to LA and San Diego next month and we need to rent a large SUV (think Expedition, Suburban, Jeep Commander, etc).

I'd stick with the bigger national chains - Enterprise is generally a good choice. Report inappropriate content.
