We moved from the Chicago area to Phoenix in July. I thought that we would make several stops along the way and do lots of sightseeing, but after starting the drive, we were anxious to get to our new home - we just wanted safe, easy roads. We exited I 40 at Holbrook AZ and took 377/260/87 to Phoenix. The drive from Payson to Phoenix is beautiful.
