It was around $240.00 a day, which is expensive, yes but you are guaranteed the 4wd or AWD you select. On the Enterprise website for Denver airport, you can select a Ford Edge AWD for $156.00 per day. But this is not guaranteed, or I haven't figured out how to ensure you get what you rent from a major car rental company.
Re: hertz and alamo airport rental cars in the same location? 10 years ago. You'll just drive out of the airport and head down Pena Blvd till you see the " car rental return" signs. There's only 1 road to leave on. Alamo/Hertz bat 1-2 miles from terminal.
The best I could get at Dollar was $444 for the week. The round trip shuttle will cost $90, but rentals in Colorado Springs are about $250 less than Denver, and since I'm working for a non-profit, I'll probably go ahead and do that. It's hard to belief the difference in prices between the two cities.

Hertz Car Rental - Denver Airport. 1 year ago. Over 50 people waiting in the Denver Hertz Rental lobby. We waited for over 2 hours and finally called an Uber. Sadly they had many cars in the lot but they were considered upgrades and price gauging customers if they wanted a car. I had a full size reserved on a corporate account (business trip).

11 years ago. We did rent with Alamo out of DIA in September 2012 and dropped off the car in ABQ. We had a great trip to the SW and traveled many miles in Utah, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico. Our Alamo car was perfect. We picked a Honda Civic and it got great gas mileage and had enough room for the two of us.
