Being the topics a little concerned about him having eye problems. He is planning to dispose of his lenses each day, not the cheapest option considering their not of that type.

   These are the average prices we found. Note Sri Lanka inflate prices for tourists, which will often be equivalent to prices at home. They have separate, much lower prices, for locals. Eg 600 rupees (£3) for a beer. 1000 -2000 rupees average for a meal £5-10

We applied for the visa via the government web site and our Australian bank blocked the transaction for AU$ 657.00. We received an email from info@srilankavisas.net advising that we need to pay the AU$657.00.

I have been traveling to Sri Lanka pretty much every year and have carried my personal medicines with me, some time with and sometimes without a prescription. In over 20 years of traveling back and forth, I have never been questioned on those.
