When you step outside the doors from the car rental counters (level 1 of the terminal) there's a narrow oneway street that runs between there and the parking garage.

Arrived at the desk, big queue then the guy tried to sell me everything - i said no. Got to the car, wasn't clean. Got to the hotel, checked paperwork - the guy had put $500 worth of stuff onto my bill ...
Most rental car companies are onsite at the airport. The only major companies that are offsite are Enterprise and Hertz-they are a shuttle drive away. However, all other major companies (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar and National) are onsite and are just a very short walk away. Report inappropriate content. FloridaSunandFun.
Alamo seem to us to be the slowest and have the longest queues.In the past we have stood in line for up to an hour.They never seem to have more than one or two people serving. Very frustrating. It also will depend on how many international flights have landed when you get to the counter.
