I was stunned to read that the Hwy 35 drive referenced was was designated "Prettiest Drive in America" - the folks at Huffington must not get around much. Though I enjoyed passing through the pleasant towns along the way and the overlook at Alma, overall I was disappointed at the lack of river views and the over abundance of four lane roads.
