If you save the number in your cell as +44 this will also work in the UK or US. If calling from a US cell as said above +44 and then the number without the first "0" of the area code. Each time you dial you must use an international access service code just like when dialing from the USA you dial 011, in Israel you dial 00 or 012, 013, 018 etc. You may want to follow up with rdglady's statement about not allowing international calls.
