I’ve found Google Maps to be very reliable in France.The “offline” feature works really well if you don’t have data coverage. I don’t drive in France myself but I spend a lot of time in the passenger seat beside a professional who does, and his go-to app is Google plus a paper Michelin atlas.

Looking at Google Maps directions app it give estimated travel times. Are these accurate for instance between Madrid and Lisbon it says about 6 hrs. and Libson to Sevilla is 4 hrs.
