Answer 1 of 2: I was hoping to download a road map of Iceland to my phone and iPad before I get to Iceland that we can use when we are there, for driving around the ring road.
I'm not proposing that anyone with either a GPS or printed map should blindly wander off into the highlands. Especially at the moment when some road have been closed due to the fissure eruption. The map I mention is significantly better in detail than the Island portion of the map included with the Garmin Europe NT map.
