Re: How long will car rental (Thrifty) hold our reservation? we've experienced flight changes on occasion & Thrifty has always had rental available for us...one instance was over 5 hours late....you might want to try & call this number..1-808-427-6464 or 1-808-357-4023 which is Thrifty Maui airport customer service.
Thrifty gives you the hard sell for the extras then sends you to the garage where you find 7 or 8 others waiting for a car to get cleaned. May take additional hour. Tried Budget last year. They downgraded me if I didn't want to wait 1hr + for what I reserved. They gave me a free tank of gas for the downgrade.
