So the last two times I used this company (albeit 6-7 years ago) it was a complete cluster - like 1-2 hour wait at the desk to get a car. I see a very good deal on autoslash -$435 for 10 days, and debating cancelling my Hertz rate at $515, but not if it is a mess like last time.

   Thrifty Honolulu airport rent a car sent a letter charging $43.00 for gas after a week we returned the car with full gas. The charge is being disputed with the same credit card company we charged the gas prior to returning the car to Thrifty. Looks like most reviews had the same issues of scamming car renters with additional charge for gas!

I do a lot of traveling for business and pleasure, and am used to "newer" vehicles - usually under 7500 miles. The minivan given to us was probably 3 years old, and had over 30,000 miles.
